Reschedule and Cancellation Policy:
Booked appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled by texting us at 770-637-6347 or with the online booking system. Appointments may be rescheduled with more than 48 hours' notice twice before a new deposit is required. 48 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations, rescheduling, or alterations to scheduled service. Cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of a booked appointment will result in forfeiture of the retainer paid at booking.
Should we need to cancel your appointment within 48 hours because of reasons other than natural occurrences (unsafe weather conditions, power outages, or other unforeseen events such as hospitalization or emergencies), we will provide a credit toward your next appointment equaling 25% of the scheduled services.
Excessive cancellation or rescheduling of booked appointments (at the provider's discretion) can result in a retainer of 50% of expected service costs being required for all future appointments scheduled and/or being limited to booking appointments no more than 7 days out from the date of scheduling to the date of the booked appointment.
Redo Appointment Policy:
If you ever feel like you are not completely satisfied with our service, please let us know by the end of your appointment or within 10 days after your service has been performed. If we’re notified of your wish for an adjustment, we will attempt to schedule you for an adjustment if that is an appropriate solution. In an effort to accommodate your adjustment, dates and times will be offered not to exceed 21 days from the date of the service. The price of this adjustment may vary depending on the specific circumstances and may be provided at no cost, cost of product only, or full price at the service provider's discretion. Please note that an adjustment does not cover a change in the style or color from the initial request as that would be considered a new service at full price as opposed to an adjustment or redo.
Bookings:
Your name, address, email, and phone number are required for all appointments. A retainer of 25% of expected service cost is standard for all bookings, excluding extension services. Extension appointments require a retainer of 50% of the expected cost of service booked. Retainers acknowledge reservation of time on the provider's schedule. Retainers are non-refundable. Retainers may be transferred to a new appointment if rescheduled within the parameters of the reschedule and cancellation policies. Clients may request or be required by the provider to sign a detailed appointment proposal before booking services exceeding $500.
Services and Pricing:
All services and prices may be subject to change without notice.
Payment:
For your convenience, we accept all major credit and debit cards, tap-to-pay, and Venmo. Payment may be made in cash, but exact change is expected as change is not kept on premises. Payment is due upon completion of your service. Our booking systems offer secure card information storage. Should you elect to save your card on file at checkout at any point online or in person, you authorize us to keep your signature and credit card information securely on file in our account and also authorize us to charge your credit card for any outstanding balances when due.
Punctuality:
Please understand that appointment times are limited. If you are running more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may, at our discretion, still accommodate you in the remaining time frame with a modified service or require you to reschedule your service for a later date.
If we do not hear from you for 15 or more minutes into your scheduled appointment time, it is considered a “No-Show.” A No-Show may result in being required to pay a fee equal to 25% of the expected service cost in addition to forfeiture of the retainer, totaling 50% of the expected service cost. Future appointments cannot be booked until the 25% No-Show fee has been paid.
Illness:
If you are sick or are concerned you are sick, please notify us as soon as you are able. Please reschedule appointments in case of illness or sickness.
Right to Refuse Service:
The safety of our staff and clients is paramount. As such, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we feel may pose a health or safety risk. This includes but is not limited to lice, skin infections, open wounds, contagious illness (continuous cough, displaying fever symptoms), or displays of any rude/obnoxious or otherwise inappropriate behavior. We will demand that you leave our salon and you will be prohibited from returning. In certain cases, service can be terminated without completion including cases of harassment, aggression, lice, or other rapidly evolving situations.
Photo Release:
All photos taken on premises may be used for client notes, marketing, and other suitable business purposes unless notified otherwise in writing prior to the appointment beginning.
Guests, Minors, and Pets:
No additional seating is available for individuals not receiving a service. Space is limited in the studio environment, so we ask that you only bring individuals who are booked for a service. Our salon is not child or pet-proof. Hot styling tools, sharp scissors, chemicals, and a busy salon can become a safety hazard for children, pets, and inattentive guests. We also ask that you refrain from bringing any pets other than service animals into the salon.
Disability Accommodations:
We have space for one (1) wheelchair at a time in the salon. Given the small nature of the studio space, we ask for a few moments of patience to allow us to remove our styling chair to create space for individuals who cannot transfer.
Service animals are not considered in the portion of this policy regarding pets. Service animals are welcome in the space. We do ask you let us know ahead of time if possible so that we can be sure to sweep thoroughly before a service animal enters to avoid the risk of hair splinters in your working companion.
Smoking and Vaping:
Please note that it is illegal to smoke or vape anywhere in our salon.
Personal Items:
Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving our salon as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. While we strive to work cleanly, there is an inherent risk of the following types of damage to clothes, purses, shoes, and other items brought into the studio: water damage, bleach stains, color stains, or hair accumulation. The client accepts these risks and shall not hold the salon or provider responsible for these types of damage to personal items.
Security:
Security cameras are in use for the protection of all parties. Video and audio is recorded and will only be used for legal purposes. This can include settling disputes, providing footage to law enforcement, and any unforeseen legal matters. Security footage is not to be used for marketing, social media, or any other purpose that would be distributed to the general public.
Limitation of Liability:
You shall not hold the salon (Verdandi Lifestyle Brands, LLC) or our employees liable and agree to indemnify us for any harm, claim, loss, costs, damage, injury, or product reaction to any person or property arising, either directly or indirectly from our service, or any other reason whatsoever.
